Many thanks for your letter of December 26. I am taking the matter up with our Film Library, they may be able to give you some advice.

Meanwhile let me assure you that John Rewald would, to my mind, be an excellent art historian to work on such a subject though I don’t know whether he is interested in films.

You will hear from the Film Library or myself shortly.
