I am sorry to say that I am at present rather ill and cannot promise you the material for the English number by the 28th.

I think it would perhaps be best if you made no. 4 the special number for English Art and then there would be more time to arrange matters.

You should ask Mr. Grigsen to write on Henry Moore and Mr. Gascoyne on the English Surrealists. Myfanwy Evans the editor of Axis would probably write about the younger abstract artists.

I will write again when I am better.
